I thought everyone knew about uShip?!....For those of you who don't....it's kinda like an ebay, if you will, for shippers and "shippees", for just about anything....Depending on size, weight, height, etc...you can specify if you want your trailer (or anything you're shipping) flat-bedded, in an enclosed trailer, or towed.....You tell them what you want shipped, from where to where, etc....and the bidding from the shippers begins....Some are "experts" with proper businesses, others are beginners that work for and by themselves....I was warned by some, including "the pros" that I should not risk it. Well, after much thought and research I decided their concerns were unfounded and bit the proverbial bullet ;)
I had a wonderful experience and saved a bunch of money...and you can, too!
Just go to their website- uShip.com and it's relatively self-explanatory....If you have any questions (there are a few things that are not explained at all and I now understand them) about it just ask me and I'll tell you what I think or know.
Make sure and check the "shipping tools" to figure out what the "usual" rate is for something comparable and then only accept a bid when it's around that much or less....Take your time and if you're flexible with drop off p/u you will not be spending much at all.
Also, the insurance goes with the "tower/tow vehicle" so make sure they have it for YOUR item (mine took out a temporary policy for the alloted amount).
Anyway, enough for now :) I hope that helps. Don't let anyone scare you from using it....If you use your discretion and pick someone with a good rating or that you believe is reliable I think you'll be happy! Good luck and let us know what happens!

Ron, I also used Uship to transport my Ultravan.....I was really pleased with the broker I found at autocarrides 208-835-4114 (Del was his name).....He also gave me a veteran's discount....He was great. Now Uship will take their bit of the money....Maybe if he is contacted directly that little chuck can be by-passed....I also still have the name and number of the driver that he got to bring the RV to me.

I have used them twice and would NOT recommend them...First time I just thoughtI was unlucky; however, the second time I used someone different, it was a nightmare...One time I ended up going to pick my trailer up and another time Ifound out that my trailer was hauled on a trailer bed that could have broken down at any time -- plus along the trail, he ask for more money or else he couldnot have made it home w/my trailer in tow..... Had to send my two guys out toget my trailer as well...I never used the cheapest bid and I also did my homework!....The transporters can delete their bad reviews after a certain period of time and you really do not have any recourse....If you can find a transport person locally and procure a contract with the local driver, would be my advice.
